For those of you reading this blog I’ve never blogged before
so bear with me, I’ll get the hang of this eventually I’m sure. My first
thought when I decided to blog was “Oh no! I need a blog title and I’m not
creative at all!” Luckily I have sisters that are creative. Lydia suggested
“Live Life Be Brave” and clearly that one stuck. Live Life Be Brave didn’t come
from nowhere, so I feel like I need to explain it, cause I love where it comes
from. The motto two of my college roommates and I had in college was live life
be brave. That’s what college is all about – living life, being brave, having
fun, trying new things – right? We said it all the time. At times we even
contemplated getting white ink tattoos on our wrists of llbb together. And,
senior year we had canvases hanging in our dining room that said llbb on them.
When Lydia suggested live life be brave, that seemed to fit perfectly for my life
and the whole purpose of me starting my blog.
For those of you that don’t know, I’m going to be moving to
San Pedro Sula, Honduras in mid September for a few months (and by a few I mean
7-9). Clearly moving to a foreign country involves being brave and trying new
things, that’s why I found the title very fitting for the occasion. I decided a
blog was necessary so that everyone back in Texas (or wherever you are reading
this from) would have an idea of what I’m up to while I’m away and so that
everyone will know what to pray for while I’m in Honduras.
In the next week or so I’ll post about how God led me to
move to Honduras and how yall can support me while I’m there.
Thanks and gig ‘em.
Peace, love, and pursue, Jesus.
